Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
 
• Perform nursing assessments, testing, and preventive health services as ordered by the Center Medical Director 
• Administer medications
• Maintain and operate all diagnostic equipment record-keeping and perform a variety of clerical duties 
• Prepare treatment rooms 
• Active in routine patient education
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
 
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state where employed
• One year of Primary Care or Chronic Disease management experience
• Current BLS certification 
• Strong computer skills, including EMR experience

JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum one year experience in occupational health nursing or related field.

JOB-RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: 

  • Demonstrated knowledge of occupational medicine requirements (state specific).
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of clinical operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to train medical assistants under the direction of the Center Medical Director.
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated willingness to participate in Continuing Medical Education.
